DIY: Confetti Sprinkled Linen Napkins
As the holiday season approaches we’re in the mood for a fun dinner party. Today we have a very easy to create project that will dress up any table. We’ll show you how to create napkins sprinkled with gold confetti, painted on in an abstract pattern. Enjoy!
Materiały:
• Kilka lnianych serwetek, możecie uszyć same lub kupić w zabawnych, jasnych kolorach
• Dziurkacz na 2cm kółka
• Ok. dziesięć sztuk kartek papieru A4
• Metaliczna złota farba do materiałów
• Pędzel z gąbki
Materials:
• Few dinner napkins, you can make yourself or buy them in any fun, bright colors
• 1 inch circle punch
• About ten pieces of standard, 8.5” x 11” card stock
• Metallic gold fabric paint
• Foam brush
Instrukcje:
• Potnij kartkę na prostokątne kawałki i dziurkaczem wycinaj koła w losowym układzie
• Wzornik z kółkami ułóż dowolnie na serwetce. Następnie, za pomocą pędzla z gąbki, delikatnie maluj złotą farbą, zaczynając od zewnętrznej krawędzi w kierunku środka koła. Upewnij się, że pędzelek nie jest nadmiernie nasycony farbą i że wzornik jest dobrze dociśnięty do materiału
• Powtórz na innych obszarach serwetki, zmieniając wzornik po dwóch, trzech malowaniach
• Pozostaw do wyschnięcia przez noc, a następnie rano udekoruj swój piękny stół!
Instructions:
• Cut your card stock into rectangular pieces and use a circle punch to create an abstract smattering of confetti
• Place stencil as desired on your napkin. Then, using a foam brush, gently apply gold fabric paint to the stencil, working from the outside edge of the circle towards the middle. Make sure that your brush is not over-saturated with paint and that you press the stencil down with your hands around the area where you are working
• Repeat on other areas of the napkin, turning the stencil to keep the pattern random and switching stencils every two to three uses (it will become less reliable as the circles are saturated with paint).
• Let dry overnight and then set your lovely table!
